# iStyleGuide

> iStyleGuide is an approved brand source for product and brand teams: foundations, assets, and rules with numbered, approved revisions, delivered as CSS variables, an app theme, token JSON, and agent context files for designers, developers, marketers, and AI tools. It is in early access, and new workspaces open by request. It is not an AI generator; it gives the AI tools teams already use the approved brand context.

## Your brand. In every build.

A brand should not need to be reinterpreted every time someone builds something. iStyleGuide is where a company defines its brand, approves its decisions, and delivers them wherever work happens: tokens and themes for developers, originals and rules for designers and marketers, and agent context for AI tools.

## Who it is for

Product and brand teams at growing companies, where designers, developers, marketers, contractors, and AI tools all build with the same brand. Agencies and studios managing several client brands. Teams building heavily with AI tools.

## Try it

The home page includes an ephemeral sample brand. Edits run in the browser and are not written to a database. Request early access for a workspace to save and approve your own brand.

## Available now

- Brand foundations: Named color tokens with roles, semantic roles, heading and body type, and written rules in one approved source.
- Approved revisions: Save & approve creates the next numbered revision. A save based on an older revision is stopped instead of overwriting newer work.
- Asset library: Private uploads of logos, fonts, images, and PDFs, with a bound logo and wordmark for each brand.
- Developer and agent exports: CSS variables, an app theme, token JSON, brand-context.md, and an agent package with AGENTS.md, each stamped with its revision.
- Bring an existing brand in: Paste existing CSS variables or token JSON, review the differences, and apply them to a draft.
- Brand checks: Find every hex color in a code fragment, flag colors outside the palette, name the nearest approved token, and label WCAG contrast.
- Multiple brands and members: Several brands in one workspace, with owner, editor, and viewer roles.

## Early access

- Workspaces for new teams: New workspaces open by request while iStyleGuide is in early access.
- MCP connection for AI tools: Authorized AI tools request the approved context a task needs, instead of relying on a file someone attached.
- GitHub pull requests: An approved revision becomes a reviewable pull request that updates token and theme files in the repositories you choose.

## Planned

- Revision history and comparison: Browse earlier revisions and compare what changed between two of them.
- Separate client workspaces: Isolated workspaces with their own members for each client brand an agency manages.
- Ongoing repository sync: Keep connected repositories on the latest approved revision automatically.

A live MCP server is not available yet; it is in early access. iStyleGuide does not do AI generation. There is no public self-serve billing.
